Rawhide Energy Technical Boiler Tour

Join us for a rare technical tour at Platte River Power Authority’s Rawhide Energy Station. This is an opportunity to see inside a multi-story boiler once every 3 years. Space is limited to 20 attendees.

10:00-10:30am        Arrival and security check-in

10:30-12:00 pm       Orientation and tour

Notes for the Technical Tour:

1. Participants must be at least 16 years of age
2. Participants who register, acknowledge the Safety and Security Guidelines-attachment below
3. Participants must stop and check in at the security guard station and park where directed
4. Participants must wear appropriate attire (sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants (hard hats, safety glasses and hearing protection will be provided for all attendees to be worn during the tour))
5. Participants must be able to walk and climb stairs for two (2) hours in an industrial setting.
