Critical Fall Protection Concepts Every Safety Professional Should Know

This session provides a practical overview of critical fall protection concepts designed to enhance workplace safety and regulatory compliance. Attendees will gain a working understanding of OSHA fall protection standards and how they apply to real-world jobsite conditions. The presentation will also cover ANSI sharp edge testing and its importance in evaluating equipment performance in demanding environments.

Participants will explore the differences between ANSI Class 1 and Class 2 self-retracting lifelines (SRLs), including intended applications, performance requirements, and selection considerations. In addition, the session will guide attendees through interpreting fall protection clearance charts to ensure proper system setup and adequate fall clearance.
