11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Join us virtually or in-person for our April Member Meeting where Stuart Waida, Business Development Director, with Blackline Safety will present on Building a Safer Workplace with Connected Safety Solutions.
Presentation Summary:
With the increased digitization of the workplace through the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), connected safety has emerged as a critical tool for managing worksite risk. By leveraging data from cloud-connected devices, companies can quickly and more easily respond to incidents, alert their workers, manage compliance, and build a stronger safety program overall.
In this presentation, Stuart will explain how connected safety works and explore how organizations are leveraging cloud-connected platforms to support their safety programs and initiatives and better protect employees.
Concepts will be illustrated by real-life case studies showcasing connected safety technology applications for gas detection, lone worker protection and the enhancement of safety protocols, processes, and training.
The session will start with an overview of the current landscape of connected safety and gas detection solutions, exploring the various wearable devices on the market today that support real-time data collection, monitoring, and analysis.
Next, we will delve into the key workplace safety risks safety professionals face and how connected safety can help mitigate them by monitoring workers’ safety status, receiving real-time alerts of incidents and visualizing patterns of potential hazards so proactive, preventive action can be taken.
By the end of the presentation, attendees will have a comprehensive understanding of how connected safety technology can be leveraged for gas detection and lone worker safety. They will be equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to implement and optimize connected safety solutions in their organizations to create safer and more robust work environments.
