Sr. Safety Consultant, Pinnacol Assurance
Clyde Serna has been with Pinnacol Assurance since 1993. Clyde came to Pinnacol with a background in both claims management and subrogation in the insurance industry. As a safety consultant, he has been instrumental in helping his customers identify hazards, reduce workplace accidents, and assist in the development of safety programs.
Mr. Serna earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Northern Colorado and an associate’s in applied science degree in occupational safety from Trinidad State Junior College. Clyde is also a Certified Safety Professional, holds the designation of Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), and holds an Associate in Claims designation (AIC). Clyde is past president of the Northern Colorado Section (Colorado Chapter) of ASSE. He is a member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of ASSP executive team. Clyde also sits on the external advisory board for the High Plains Intermountain Center for Agriculture Health and Safety.
